I’m thrilled to invite you to join us in Wilmington, North Carolina, for the 56th Annual Meeting of the Southeast Decision Sciences Institute, February 24–26, 2027. This year’s conference again provides us with the opportunity to share our research, collaborate on new ideas, connect with friends, and meet new colleagues who share our enthusiasm for the community that is SEDSI!

Our riverfront conference hotel will be Hotel Ballast, located on the Cape Fear River right in the heart of historic downtown Wilmington. We’ll be within easy walking distance of Wilmington’s Riverwalk, a diverse selection of vibrant restaurants, eclectic shopping at The Cotton Exchange, and historic sites and attractions. Enjoy the spectacular view of Battleship North Carolina just across the river. Take a stroll along the Riverwalk as it winds through Wilmington’s historic waterfront.

The heart of our annual meeting is the opportunity to learn from one another. I hope you’ll consider sharing your experiences and your research, organizing a special session or panel, or bringing your students or colleagues to experience SEDSI. Whether you’ve been part of SEDSI for many years or this will be your first conference with us, we want you to be part of our meeting in Wilmington.
